NPORS is the UK leading body for the registration of plant and machinery operatives. NPORS plant cards are aligned to two routes. 1. Utility Works 2. Construction Sites.

In order to successfully achieve a traditional NPORS card an experienced operative would complete an on site assessment to confirm his/her competence in operating their chosen item of plant.
On successful completion, this will entitle them to a traditional NPORS card. This card will last for five years.
2. Construction Site Operatives - Require a NPORS/CSCS card. In order to successfully achieve a NPORS/CSCS card an operative would complete a Health, Safety and Environment Test followed by an on site assessment to confirm his/her competence in operating their chosen item of plant.
